Better Life Mobility is a family-run business; founded 10 years ago, and still led, by MD Graeme Elliott.
I gained personal experience of trying to help a family member with mobility problems when my father suffered a debilitating stroke. As I tried to navigate the plethora of mobility aids on the market, to find the best solutions for Dad’s challenges, I came to realise that there was a need for a mobility ‘one-stop-shop’, where quality, service and care for the client were at the heart of the business.
Having formerly been a farmer, with responsibility for a huge fleet of complex machinery, I embarked on a new career in mobility aids by running an agency for Adjustamatic beds; one of the suppliers that I felt actually measured up to the high standards customers should be able to expect. However, I soon became aware that my clients were calling out for a similar level of quality and service across a much wider range of products.
Eventually, I set up Better Life Mobility to offer pressure-free, unbiased advice on which mobility solutions had the right combination of quality, price and durability to offer the best available value for money. I wanted to then make those products available with an outstanding level of service, care, and attention to the client’s needs. We always make sure we treat our customers with the respect and care we’d want for a member of our own family.
My engineering background made me very aware that finding the best product is only part of the story. A product is only truly useful if it’s kept in tiptop condition, which is why Better Life also offers unrivalled technical support, using our own team of in-house service engineers.
As well as offering a home visit service, so we can gain a thorough understanding of a client’s specific needs, we also have a showroom and retail centre at Snowhill Business Centre in Copthorne, near Crawley, ably run by my lovely daughter Ashley!
We like to think the Better Life approach is pretty special, so please talk to us to see how we might be able to help you or your loved one have a better life.
Warmest regards,
Graeme |
